Yuyuan Garden Station
I was quite often on the markets in Yuyuan Garden. Now I present you a fotos and descriptions.
My hotel where I was spending a few days was near Zhongshan Park in Shanghai. From there I took the metro line number 2 to East Nanjing Road. Then I changed to line 10 for one station and got off in Yuyuan Garden. If you take exit number 1, it is very close to
If you cross the street and walk in the direction of the tower turn to the left in front of the lower building which you will see on the foto.
You will come to this huge building which is the trim & accessories market.
Here is the back entrance.
On the ground and first floor you find a lot of accessories for sewing and crafting.
Like buttons
ribbons
finges...
Outside of the bilding there are also some shops where you can bargain a little.
Also a zipper shop
and lots of laces.
On the opposite side of the back entrance of the accessories market you will find some shops which offer a variety of hemp twines, cotton cords, braids,...
If you walk to
there you have various shops for cotton and polyester lace.
On the way back I recommend a walk to old town of Shaghai where you find restaurants, juice bars, the Tea House,...
